Our Beginning

Since 1984, the DDRM family of companies has redeveloped, renovated or developed a myriad of hospitality and residential projects.  When the Breen Group joined DDRM in 2018 and DDRM Partners was created, we significantly bolstered our ability to efficiently produce more of these luxury high-quality projects. 

Our collective experience as owners, third party development managers, or internal development managers of institutional-grade, mixed-use hospitality and residential projects is valued at more than $9 billion. We create value through unique development solutions and management services for investors, lenders, and hospitality brands to successfully complete new and existing broken projects where other developers could not finish.

What Drives Us

The design of facilities and the operating platforms of most DDRM projects focuses on creating a sense of community within the context of their surroundings. This terminology is used often in the resort industry but little about it is understood.  Even when buyers or guests highly value their privacy or refuge, they tend to respond to the “community.”  Some people also want a place to “see” or to “be seen” while also protecting their privacy. This complex set of issues is constantly being researched and analyzed by DDRM.  In truth, most people who purchase residences in luxury resorts aspire to create a long-term intergenerational family legacy that requires a sense of community.

DDRM successfully engages in and relies on research in matching the right locations, products, brands, cross-branding, markets, contractors and project management personnel to meet owner/investor objectives.

Significant proprietary research of the luxury hospitality brands indicates strengths and weaknesses in their market offerings allowing us to improve pricing and perceived values strategically.

We have also learned to create value by analyzing views and engaging in weather studies then we generate design strategies to mitigate the constraints and immerse residents and guests into the benefits.

We take pride in our incredible record of on-time and on-budget Projects and risk management.

Although we work closely with creative marketing firms, data mining groups, research firms and sales teams, we do not share in real estate sales commissions because we deem it a conflict of interest with owners and/or investors.
